Sorry Glyn, not being as horticultural savvy as you, I don't understand this post. Can you elucidate?

anon - I suppose Winter Pansy's pansies would be ok - assuming Pansy to be a rather 'cold' lady.

Alwyn - The Telegraph has been running a series of stories about the incorrectly placed apostrophy. This was my entry. Another sign in Welshpool last Xmas read 'Chessnuts for sale'.

OK, 'total aside' ... We have to do something ... here it is: "Four letter four words: Jobs, Jobs, Jobs, Jobs". Speaker Pelosi (talking about helping small businesses to hire people) said yesterday ... maybe she saw me speak up with "Jobs, Jobs, Jobs ..." on BBC's Question Time on the US side of the wee pond just ahead of the November 2008 national elections. I guess the 'heat is on', In re: 2010 elections - and in a couple of weeks when VA and NJ vote for their new state governors - the VA election is the one to watch, I'll be voting in it, my mum too if she can manage it (up for 'the big one' tomorrow - surgery on her spine, all her friends from Wales/UK are on the phone wishing her good luck).
